Ensure strict control of entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and vehicles.
Verify the identity and purpose of all individuals entering the premises.
Maintain accurate visitor logbooks and entry registers.
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems regularly.
Identify and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized movement.
Ensure CCTV coverage meets audit standards and that recordings are retained as per requirements.
Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the factory premises.
Check perimeter fencing, doors, windows, and locks for security compliance.
Identify and report any vulnerabilities or breaches.
Ensure all company property, materials, and equipment are safeguarded.
Check loading/unloading activities to prevent pilferage or theft.
Verify materials against documentation during dispatch and receipt.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches.
Assist in fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures.
Report incidents immediately to management and document them properly.
Ensure security operations comply with WRAP’s Principle 12: Customs Compliance & Security.
Prevent unauthorized access to production areas and sensitive information.
Cooperate during WRAP and other social/compliance audits.
Maintain updated security logs, visitor registers, and incident reports.
Preserve CCTV footage as per company policy and audit requirements.
Keep track of keys, access cards, and security equipment inventory.
Liaise with local police or authorities during serious security incidents.
Provide necessary support for investigations or legal procedures.
Attend regular security awareness training.
Educate employees on security protocols, emergency procedures, and theft prevention.
Handle all security-related information with confidentiality.
Exhibit honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all duties.
