Familiarity with national and international funding agencies, grant mechanisms, and proposal writing practices
Hands-on experience in budget design, project scheduling, and resource planning
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AI-based tools (e.g., Canva)
Sound knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including tools such as SPSS, Stata, R, Python, or NVivo
Prior experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams
Strong writing and reporting skills, particularly in grant and project documentation
Background in project monitoring and evaluation activities

We are seeking a talented Project Writing Assistant / Grant Writer to support the design and preparation of project concepts, proposals, and funding applications. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in project development, budgeting, and timeline planning, with knowledge of both national and international funding organizations. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams are essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and identify funding opportunities from national and international grant providers
Develop project concepts and draft comprehensive proposals, including detailed budgets and timelines
Write grant applications that clearly present objectives, methodologies, and anticipated outcomes
Draft, review, and refine reports, documents, and presentations related to project proposals and funding
Track and maintain records of funding submissions, deadlines, and application progress
Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders, donors, and partners to support smooth project implementation
Contribute to monitoring and evaluation documentation for ongoing projects
