    • Ability to prepare reports and presentations (PowerPoint)

    • Strong team collaboration skills

  • Other:
    • Owning a motorbike with a valid driving license is preferred

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO), founded in 1988, is a leading national NGO dedicated to supporting poor and marginalized communities in Bangladesh. Over the past 35+ years, ESDO has established itself as a model for sustainable development, focusing on areas such as livelihoods, food security, nutrition, education, health, women's empowerment, and the rights of children, youth, and ethnic minorities. With a community-driven, people-centered approach, ESDO currently operates in 408 upazilas across 53 districts, serving over 15 million vulnerable individuals and aligning its programs with both national development goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance, verify measurements, and assist with certifying completed works.
  • Identify defective work or procedures during and after construction; ensure necessary exclusions from contractor bills.
  • Maintain and check all QA (Quality Assurance) formats and records for construction and finishing phases.
  • Provide technical support, including input on design, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess cleanliness, worker safety, and overall site quality.
  • Record findings in writing and submit compliance proposals with deadlines to senior management.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports with site photos and documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain effective communication with the Project Coordinator and relevant team members.
  • Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and verifying material quality and quantities.
  • Make timely decisions and consult with supervisors as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
