Experience
Dispense medications as per the doctor’s prescription.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, confirm required ingredients, and assess their appropriateness for the patient.
Offer guidance on drug interactions, potential side effects, dosage instructions, and proper storage of medicines.
Maintain and monitor inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and medications.
Handle sales transactions for medicines and other items in the pharmacy.
Ensure that all medicines are stored securely and under appropriate conditions.
Keep detailed records including patient profiles, inventory logs, and controlled substance registries for narcotics, anticancer drugs, and other sensitive medications.
Accurately prepare and print prescription labels.
Dispense medicines to both inpatient and outpatient clients.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
