A professional degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
Proven leadership experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years in ISP/IIG, System Analyst, or IT Security roles.
In-depth knowledge of ISP services, security, and the internet market.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience in regulated environments, preferably within the ISP services industry.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration.
Capable of aligning technical services with customer requirements.
Strong understanding of physical and logical ISP networks and effective utilization of team members.
Expertise in planning and designing ISP core networks.
Knowledge of internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and physical layer technologies (Optical, FTTH, CWDM, DWDM, P2P, P2M, etc.).
Experience in installation, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of networking devices, including MikroTik, Juniper, Cisco, firewalls, and access points, along with problem diagnosis.
Proficiency with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and VPN tunnels.
Strong understanding of Layer-2 and Layer-3 networks, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, VTP, Spanning Tree Protocol, DNS, Proxy, DHCP, Web Servers, MySQL, FTP servers, MRTG, mail servers on Linux/Windows, SNMP, Netflow, and SSL/IPSec VPNs.
Prior experience in networking organizations (ISP/IIG/Telco) in relevant roles.
Handle all types of network troubleshooting and outage issues.
Configure and troubleshoot services such as PPPOE and RADIUS.
Manage GGC, FNA, IX services, traffic queues, and scheduling.
Work with various switching services, including VLAN, Trunking, VTP, STP, RSTP, and GPON OLT/ONU equipment.
Certifications such as MTCNA, MTCRE, or CCNA are preferred.
Work with different routing protocols, including Static, OSPF, and BGP across multiple networks.
Supervise the NOC team while coordinating with other teams, management, and external vendors to meet company objectives.
Collaborate with the NOC and System Support teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
Maintain the highest ISP service uptime and uphold SLA standards for all customers.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
Coordinate activities across departments as required.
Respond to client inquiries via email, calls, and other communication channels, ensuring proper follow-up.
Provide onsite technical support when necessary.
Monitor network performance and generate reports.
Work in shifts, including weekends.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
