  • Have sound knowledge on floor/line management, production management (sewing, cutting, finishing & pattern).
  • Willingness to work under pressure.
  • Can cope up with any kind of situation.
  • Able to understand and speak in English.
  • Familiar with windows XP, MS office suite, e-mail etc.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee all activities related to knit garment production, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Conduct pre-production and in-line inspections in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring quality is maintained from the start of the production process.
  • Independently manage buyer orders from cutting through to shipment, ensuring all stages are executed as per requirements.
  • Monitor production capacity and the stock of fabrics and accessories, ensuring alignment with production plans to avoid short shipments or delays.
  • Proactively anticipate potential production issues and resolve them before they impact the production timeline.
  • Ensure production meets target delivery dates, maintaining both quantity and quality standards.
  • Maintain and monitor all necessary reports relevant to the team and upper management for transparency and performance tracking.
  • Manage absenteeism and labor turnover for both workers and staff, working closely with the HR team to motivate and encourage consistent attendance.
