Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR):

  • Lead and enhance the HR team’s efficiency and overall competency.

  • Develop organizational strategies by identifying and addressing HR issues, aligning HR goals with company policies, and contributing to strategic planning.

  • Oversee HR operations including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and performance appraisal.

  • Motivate employees and foster positive relations between staff and management.

  • Develop and update the company organogram, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and overall manpower planning.

  • Create and implement recruitment plans to support talent acquisition and ensure timely hiring.

  • Coordinate and maintain performance appraisal systems.

  • Conduct salary surveys to ensure competitiveness with industry standards.


Administration:

  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with law enforcement and government agencies to facilitate smooth operations.

  • Ensure all legal and compliance documents are current and properly maintained.

  • Oversee access control, attendance systems, security measures, and emergency protocols.

  • Support effective office management and staff coordination.

  • Maintain factory discipline and uphold the established chain of command.

  • Collaborate with management teams and departmental heads.

  • Organize official meetings and supervise subordinate administrative staff.

  • Monitor and manage operational budgets for administrative activities.


Compliance:

  • Lead and develop the Compliance team’s capabilities.

  • Manage social and environmental compliance audits and prepare for buyer inspections.

  • Liaise with government bodies and compliance organizations to ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Promote and maintain a healthy workplace, focusing on safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.

  • Stay updated with Buyer Codes of Conduct and manage all social and technical audits.

  • Prepare CAP (Corrective Action Plan) reports for audits and maintain all required compliance documentation.

  • Supervise and manage chemical handling and safety procedures.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
