Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years in communications (or 4 years with a Master’s degree) in the nonprofit, development, or humanitarian sector.

Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for global audiences.
  • Expertise in branding, content strategy, and cross-cultural communication.
  • Experience in digital tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS/WordPress, CRM (Salesforce), and social media.
  • Knowledge of media engagement and donor communication strategies.
  • Strong multitasking, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 3 weeks/year).

Responsibilities & Context

ob Purpose:
Support BRAC’s global fundraising efforts by producing and curating high-quality communications content tailored to audiences in the US, UK, and Europe. The role bridges BRAC’s program teams with affiliates by ensuring a consistent flow of impactful stories, media assets, and project communications deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation (60%):
    Develop and adapt audience-specific stories, visuals, and communication materials (approx. 40 per year) from BRAC programmes for fundraising and engagement use across Europe and North America.
  • Project Communications Support (20%):
    Assist in developing donor-facing content for global partners such as USAID, FCDO, EU, Gates Foundation, and more. Ensure timely content delivery aligned with project milestones.
  • Internal Coordination (20%):
    Maintain a global content calendar and ensure affiliates have timely access to program updates, reports, stories, media, and branding assets. Participate in regular coordination meetings across teams.
