Lubricants Bangladesh Ltd., an affiliate of the former Fuchs Lubricants Bangladesh Ltd., is preparing to launch a new lubricating oil and grease production facility in Sitakunda, Chattogram.
Fuchs Lubricants Bangladesh Ltd. is a trailblazer in the country’s lubricant sector, having established Bangladesh’s first private lube oil blending and grease manufacturing plant, which began operations in 1998. To ensure consistent product quality, the facility features a cutting-edge laboratory equipped with AI-powered robotic systems that test raw materials, oversee formulations, and verify that every batch meets strict industry standards.
Expansion at Sitakunda
Guided by an ambitious growth plan, the company intends to build a fully automated, precision-engineered, and eco-friendly (“green field”) lubricating oil and grease plant.
Key objectives of this initiative include:
Integrating advanced blending and packaging technology for optimal efficiency
Offering customized lubrication solutions supported by expert technical assistance
Maintaining full compliance with international quality standards
To support this expansion, the company will hire specialized professionals to assist with setting up and commissioning the new facility.
