Develop product assortments and stock strategies in collaboration with the buying team.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers, and distributors.
Collaborate with internal departments to support cross-functional operations.
Oversee the entire process from sampling and product development to final shipment.
Use forecasting tools and software to project sales and profit trends.
Maximize sales and profitability within assigned product categories.
Evaluate performance metrics of top and bottom-selling items (e.g., pricing, colors, styles).
Collect and analyze customer feedback to refine product offerings.
Accompany buyers to supplier facilities to understand production methods and capabilities.
Negotiate with suppliers regarding stock distribution and pricing when necessary.
Identify and resolve issues related to production and supply chain in a timely manner.
Lead, train, manage, and where necessary, discipline team members to maintain performance standards.
Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Post-Probation Opportunity
Upon successful completion of six months of service, and based on outstanding performance, the employee will be promoted to the position of Assistant Merchandiser with an increased allowance of Tk. 30,000. At this point, they will also be eligible to transition into a permanent employment status.
