Investigate product defects, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Oversee maintenance tasks for forming machines, molds, and related equipment.
Ensure timely execution of preventive and routine maintenance plans.
Monitor and regulate furnace parameters and forehearth temperatures for efficient glass forming.
Adjust PLC settings for press machines, robotic take-out systems, fire polishing, and annealing lehr to improve output.
Track spare part inventory and initiate purchase requests when necessary.
Coordinate the repair and upkeep of all production machinery.
Develop cost-reduction strategies while maintaining product quality standards.
Prepare regular production reports for management review and strategic planning.
Supervise staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and organize training to enhance team capabilities.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.
Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
Work closely with the Mixing, Furnace, and Sales departments to ensure quality production and on-time delivery.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
