Job Summary:
Nourish Poultry and Hatchery Ltd. is looking for a proactive Store Officer to oversee material receiving, storage, and inventory management at construction and layer farm sites. This position is responsible for maintaining precise stock records, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting efficient store operations in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods, ensuring quality and quantity match purchase orders.
Assist in the receipt, verification, and storage of materials and equipment for construction and layer farm operations.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records through stock registers, spreadsheets, or inventory management systems.
Organize and store materials systematically, ensuring proper labeling, safety compliance, and adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
Issue materials to departments or sites based on approved requisitions while accurately recording all stock movements.
Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely material supply and avoid stockouts.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to management.
Perform routine stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Promptly report any damaged, expired, or missing items to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and adherence to safety standards within the store premises.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of store management systems and processes.
