Responsibilities & Context

This role focuses on gathering and organizing data from assigned blocks for daily reporting. It includes distributing shelter material tokens, assisting with on-ground distribution using master rolls and KoBo tools, and supporting beneficiaries in building shelters that meet established quality standards.

Key duties include:

  • Collecting and submitting data to the Technical Officer–Shelter from assigned areas.

  • Coordinating token distribution to selected households and managing the organized delivery of shelter materials at designated sites.

  • Assisting with the on-site distribution of shelter items, ensuring all materials are documented and accounted for.

  • Helping beneficiaries construct shelters in line with technical guidelines and safety standards.

  • Working closely with the Technical Officer–Shelter to identify vulnerable households, conduct shelter assessments, and support shelter and site improvement activities.

  • Engaging and managing daily labor, including attendance tracking and resource allocation.

  • Supporting material inventory and storage at warehouses in collaboration with the APO Supply Chain Officer, maintaining accurate documentation at all stages.

  • Responding swiftly during emergency or disaster situations, coordinating with volunteers to implement immediate support actions.

  • Upholding and promoting safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe, respectful, and abuse-free environment for all stakeholders.

  • Providing guidance on safeguarding issues, encouraging appropriate incident reporting, and reinforcing a culture of accountability and protection across all operations.
