Practical experience with:

Customs systems such as ASYCUDA or ICEGATE for export declarations.

ERP platforms or commercial management software.

MS Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.

Online banking portals for LC processing and document submission.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong negotiation and coordination skills.

Solid knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms 2020).

Ability to handle pressure and meet strict shipment deadlines.

Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities & Context
-
Strong understanding of export procedures and required documentation.
-
Familiarity with LC terms such as sight/usance, negotiation, and discrepancy management.
-
Preparing and submitting documents for LC negotiation.
-
Following up on proceeds realization and resolving discrepancies.
-
Knowledge of Back-to-Back LC, Packing Credit, and Bill Discounting processes.
-
Handling foreign currency realization for export proceeds.
-
Managing Bangladesh Bank reporting, Form EXP closure, and repatriation timelines.
-
Understanding cash incentives, EDF facilities, and bonded warehouse operations.
-
Coordinating with production, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipments.
-
Communicating with freight forwarders, C&F agents, and shipping lines.
-
Managing export schedules and shipment bookings.
-
Drafting professional emails to buyers, banks, and shipping partners.
-
Following up on outstanding payments, discrepancies, and shipment-related issues.
-
Ensuring document accuracy to minimize LC discrepancies.
-
Keeping export registers and shipment tracking records updated.
-
Ensuring compliance with customs, EPB, and Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
