At least 15 years of experience in distribution management, including a minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a reputed pharmaceutical company.
In-depth knowledge of distribution and logistics operations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in using distribution management systems and related tools.
Strong customer orientation with commitment to providing high-quality service.
Lead strategic planning and oversee the execution of all distribution operations across depots, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Ensure effective logistics and distribution management, including proper handling of cold-chain systems.
Proficiently use WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to optimize operations.
Maintain timely deliveries, effective inventory control, and high service standards.
Supervise and guide distribution teams by fostering a performance-driven culture, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) through proper SOP implementation.
Oversee budgeting, cost management, and profitability across the distribution network.
Promote efficiency through the integration of advanced technology and automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate contracts, define service level agreements, and manage risks with proactive solutions.
Ensure delivery cost optimization, meet return targets, adhere to budgets, and ensure timely cash and credit collection.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times, improve supply chain performance, and safeguard data integrity.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
