We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team as Deputy General Manager – Construction. The selected candidate will oversee all civil construction and shade-related projects within our factory premises, including planning, supervision, coordination, and progress monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, management, and supervision of multiple ongoing construction projects.
Maintain proper documentation for future audits and record-keeping.
Coordinate and guide the construction team to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress through updates from project managers.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to relevant authorities.
Review and coordinate architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical drawings, maintaining communication with consultants and design firms.
Supervise concrete mix ratios and water-cement ratios during casting, including field tests.
Conduct and analyze quality tests to ensure projects meet specified standards.
Collect necessary data and photographs from proposed sites (roads, bridges, culverts) to prepare line diagrams, estimates, and BOQs.
