Responsibilities & Context

Position Overview:
The Coordinator will act as the central communication point between internal teams and external entities such as the UGC, government agencies, consultants, architects, and academic planners. This role ensures that all documentation, compliance matters, and institutional setup activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with national regulatory requirements.


Planning & Establishment Support

  • Assist the founding team in organizing and executing all tasks related to establishing the new university.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress reports for both management and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

  • Contribute to drafting institutional policies, organizational structures, and administrative frameworks as per the Private University Act.

  • Manage documentation for the Letter of Intent (LOI) and Final Approval processes with the UGC.


UGC Liaison & Compliance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication with the UGC, Ministry of Education, and other regulatory bodies.

  • Prepare and submit proposals, reports, and compliance documents on time, ensuring all UGC requirements are met.

  • Support the development of curriculum outlines, faculty rosters, infrastructure information, and governance documentation for UGC inspections.


Communication & Coordination

  • Facilitate smooth communication among founders, advisors, consultants, and project teams.

  • Organize meetings, record minutes, and track action items.

  • Draft official correspondence, circulars, and memos for internal and external communication.

  • Handle all strategic and regulatory information with confidentiality.

  • Coordinate admission campaign planning, media communication, and outreach activities.

  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Project Director, Vice Chancellor, or Board of Trustees.
