Additional Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the pulp and paper industry, with hands-on involvement in the production of Kraft paper, white paper, writing & printing offset paper, and tissue paper.
Must have experience working with both virgin pulp and recycled fiber materials.
Knowledge of operating modern high-speed paper machines and advanced technologies will be considered a strong asset.
Experience in paper mills utilizing both de-inking and non-de-inking processes is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities to oversee laboratory operations and collaborate closely with production departments.
Demonstrated expertise in process control, quality management, chemical application, and cost-efficiency strategies.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Raw Water Treatment (RWT) teams to maintain proper chemical dosing and pH levels.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prepare accurate technical reports.
Proficient in basic computer tools and data analysis software.
