  • Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce, MBA, or BBA from any UGC-approved local or internationally recognized university, with no third division or equivalent in any academic qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of continuous experience in branch banking operations, including at least 5 years in the role of Branch Manager at a reputed commercial bank.
  • Strong understanding of Islamic Shariah-based banking practices.
  • Proven expertise in strategic business planning, managing a large customer base, and strong loan recovery capabilities.
  • Corporate designation requirements may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Achieve branch business targets including assets, liabilities, operating profit, and other key financial goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through effective communication.
  • Build a robust network to enhance the branch's visibility and reputation within the community, fostering brand awareness and deeper business relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize resources and enhance operational excellence, efficiency, and productivity in line with set KPIs.
  • Conduct pre-audits to identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure continuous compliance with regulatory procedures.
  • Ensure all reports are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment by motivating, guiding, and supporting branch staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrate a strong drive to grow the retail, SME, corporate, and card business portfolios.
  • Maintain effective communication across stakeholders, including branches, zonal offices, and head office.
  • Recommend viable business proposals for approval by the competent authority.
  • Monitor client compliance issues regularly and ensure all business covenants are fulfilled.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the bank’s competent authority.
