Education

• Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), 4-year Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.

Additional Requirements

• At least 10 years working experience in 100% Export oriented Garments/Knit Composite Textile Industry in similar position.
• Dispensing & Patient Support
• Dispense medications accurately based on valid prescriptions from physicians.
• Handle the dispensing of narcotic drugs in compliance with legal and institutional protocols.
• Offer guidance to patients and healthcare providers regarding dosages, indications, contraindications, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Provide clear explanations of medication usage, side effects, and storage to patients.
• Billing & Documentation
• Prepare and issue accurate bills and receipts for dispensed medications.
• Maintain complete and proper documentation of all transactions, especially for narcotics and controlled substances.
• Record the time of receipt and details of delivered medications to ensure traceability.
• Pharmacy Operations
• Ensure the timely distribution of medications to inpatient wards and clinical departments.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including answering phone calls, processing orders, and operating POS systems.
• Support the monthly pharmacy action plan in coordination with the department head.
• Inventory & Procurement
• Maintain pharmaceutical stock following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and check for expiry dates.
• Mark medicines with expiry dates and product names before restocking.
• Receive supplies from the central store, cross-check deliveries with requisition lists and invoices.
• Assist with ordering and purchasing of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Compliance & Quality
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the pharmacy area.
• Monitor the storage conditions of medications to ensure product integrity.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and in line with regulatory standards.
• Participate in training and quality improvement programs as needed.
• Support & Reporting
• Provide regular stock updates and support monthly inventory reports.
• Assist the Pharmacy Incharge in preparing requisition lists, monthly reports, and audits.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
