As an Information Security Advisor, you will play a critical role in enhancing Gildan’s overall security framework. Your primary responsibilities include managing monthly security awareness activities, overseeing phishing simulations, analyzing security KPIs, and providing operational support for various security systems. You will also play an active role in identifying vulnerabilities and supporting incident response efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, execute, and monitor monthly security awareness programs and phishing assessments.
Collect, analyze, and prepare monthly reports on security metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams to track, validate, and follow up on vulnerability remediation activities.
Review, triage, and track day-to-day security alerts and incident reports, including:
Malware incidents escalated by the MSSP
Antispam alerts and phishing attempts
Endpoint security and antivirus notifications
Alerts generated from security monitoring systems
Apply documented response procedures, including:
Coordinating with local teams regarding identified incidents
Supporting incident investigation and response efforts
Review, assess, and report on IT security exception requests.
Provide operational support for corporate security tools (Antivirus, EDR, antispam, web filtering, etc.).
Assist in evaluating, implementing, and enhancing enterprise-wide technical security solutions.
Support operational tasks by reviewing recorded changes within IT systems.
